Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern the use of the PowerIX @ Home service (hereinafter "the Service"), published by PowerIX (sole proprietorship), providing automated diagnosis and maintenance of Windows PCs.

2. Acceptance

Registering for the Service implies full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, do not use the Service.

3. Service description

The Service includes:

Installing a software agent on the user's Windows PCs
Collecting technical metrics (CPU, RAM, disk, network, Windows services)
Automated analysis of these metrics by artificial intelligence
Remote maintenance and repair tools
A web dashboard accessible from any browser

4. Registration and account

The user must provide a valid email address and password. They are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. Any activity from their account is deemed to have been carried out by them.

5. Data collected

The agent collects exclusively technical data:

System metrics: CPU, RAM, disk space, temperature
Windows services status and active processes
Network configuration (interfaces, DNS, latency)
Security status (antivirus, firewall, updates)
Hardware information (disk model, battery)

Never collected: personal files, passwords, browsing history, emails, photos, documents.

6. Use of artificial intelligence

Technical data may be sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for analysis and recommendations. Only anonymized metrics are sent. No data that could identify the user is transmitted to the AI.

7. Free trial and pricing

The Service offers a 14-day free trial. Afterwards, the user may choose a paid plan or stay on the free plan (limited features). Prices are shown on the home page and may change with 30 days' notice.

8. Termination

The user may cancel their account at any time. Cancellation results in:

Immediate stop of data collection
Data deletion within 30 days
Uninstalling the agent is the user's responsibility (command provided)

9. Liability

PowerIX undertakes to provide the Service with due care. However:

The Service is provided "as is" without guarantee of result
AI recommendations are indicative and do not replace professional advice
PowerIX cannot be held liable for damages resulting from applying recommendations
The user alone remains responsible for validating actions before execution

10. Availability

PowerIX strives for maximum Service availability but does not guarantee 100% uptime. Maintenance interruptions may occur.

11. Intellectual property

The agent software, Service source code and all content are the exclusive property of PowerIX. The user receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence limited to use of the Service.

12. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the courts of Pontoise (95) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
